PSD Road Solutions Co., Ltd. and its affiliate companies. Partners with the Department of Highways to Host a Diamond Product Seminar at the Huy Yai Toll Office, Chonburi Province
On July 25, 2024, PSD Road Solution Co., Ltd., in collaboration with the Department of Highways, organized a seminar for the pilot project “Diamond Product Grooving Machine” at the Huai Yai Toll Office in Bang Lamung District, Chonburi Province. The seminar aimed to disseminate knowledge about innovative road grooving technology using the Diamond Product machine, designed to restore and enhance road surface quality. This includes reducing unevenness, minimizing noise, and increasing friction on roadways, bridges, tunnels, and runways.
The event featured a live demonstration on a test section of the Department of Highways’ road from kilometer 129+800 to 130+100, spanning 300 meters. Experts from the United States and PSD’s specialized team showcased the capabilities of the Diamond Product machine in introducing this cutting-edge road surface improvement method to Thailand.
Performance evaluations were conducted to measure the International Roughness Index (IRI) and friction values both before and after the operations. The project emphasized improving road safety by ensuring vehicles maintain stable trajectories, effectively reducing hydroplaning risks and lowering accident rates. Additionally, the technology offers cost-efficiency, durability, and eco-friendliness, making it a sustainable solution for the nation’s road infrastructure.
